I don't work for Softrak, so I may not be as tactful as they are, but I will try.

The slowness of the job status report is a known issue; I have reported it many times, and I know they are working on speeding it up in an upcoming release.

The process of recognizing revenue and expense may be slower; none of my clients have reported that. On the plus side, recognizing revenue and expense is now date sensitive, and there is now a period-end calendar where you can close periods. This is a huge improvement, and well worth the tradeoff in speed.

I think you might not have done adequate research before installing Adagio JC. Everywhere you look on Softrak's website and in the manual it states that Adagio JC breaks the Adagio standard of being database compatible with ACCPAC Plus. As part of the conversion, Adagio renames the ACCPAC JC files, lest you think they are still live. That is why you couldn't find the data. The main reason for the break in compatibility is the expansion of the Job-Phase-Category fields from 4-2-4 to 6-6-6. As a result, once you convert JC you can't use ACCPAC Plus AP, AR, or Quik Invoice either.
