Hi Parry,

Adagio is best configured when all of the programs are contained in the same \Softrak subdirectory, whether it is on a network server or a local hard-drive. Some functions will work only if all the programs are in the same place. Should Adagio OrderEntry have been installed in a different location that the other programs, that may explain this situation. Also, if from the place you were running wksetup, the directory below OEWIN did not contain an OEWIN.EXE (the main program) file, that
could be another cause. This would indicate an incomplete installation.
Using Windows Explorer, go to the network drive where your Adagio programs are installed. The default options would be to have a \softrak directory off of the root, then a number of folders inside that. There will be an OEWIN for ORderEntry, CRWIN for Receivables, etc. There will be a few other folders such as ALLWKST, SPELL, DICT, and SYSTEM, to name a few.

Since Adagio OrderEntry is a 6.8A version program, my first suggestion would be to run the All-workstation setup program, or ALLWKST.EXE, which will be found in the \softrak\allwkst directory. This should do the setup not only for OrderEntry, but also all other Adagio programs.

To be sure everything installed OK, run the utility program CHKSYS.EXE, which can be found in the \softrak\system directory. This checks your local hard-drive for all files that should have been put there by the workstation setup. If anything is missing, this will be reported. This utility is only useful if you have first run the ALLWKST workstation setup.

Hope this helps out.
