Hi IR

Well, this is behaviour that is outside the boundaries of QIP. Here are some more possibilities to check out...

1. Check to see that nobody else is using QIP, or for that matter, AR. In other words, make sure you are the only one in QIP and then try modifying the Tax Group.

2. Do you use WSM Macros? It may be possible that a Macro has been incorporated to disable the editing of Tax setup for specific Users or stations.

3. Is WSM Security being used. I am not sure if this would affect a specific function within a menu option or not, but it is worth looking into.

4. If QIP is installed on an NT Server, or if you have an NT O/S on your local station, it is imperative that Opportunistic Locking be turned off. This can affect access of certain areas of applications running under these O/S's.

5. Have you done a Data Integrity Check to ensure there are no problems with your data being used with QIP?

6. Try another station to see if you get the same problem.

Because some networks can invoke rights and priveledges to different Users, you may have to consult with who-ever usually does your network administration to find the source of this problem, but these suggestions should give you some ideas.

Regards,
