Yes, how your Customers are setup in AR will affect how Quik Invoice calculates tax.

If your Customers have a Tax Status that is exempt of Tax (or does not calculate tax), then your invoices will not charge tax to that Customer, no matter how you have the Item or Customer setup in the Quik Invoice Tax Groups!

Your Customer must be setup to be Taxable.
