You are correct in most of your observations...however, the Customer Name should be able to be exported, but you must define a 'Transfer Template' to tell the export what fields you want to be exported first. Before setting up the transfer template, you may want to also create an Extraction Rule, which would tell SR what records are to be exported, if you don't want all of them to be.

Both of these are done through the Housekeeping area, options 3 & 4.

The only 'Ship To' field that is stored in Sales Analysis is the Ship To Code. When you are in the setup of the Transfer Template, you will see what available fields are there to use.

If you want to get more detailed in exporting records from Sales Analysis, you would have to use a report writer such as Crystal Reports for Adagio, or perhaps your client has either Quik Reports (DOS) or QRWIN. You could create a report using the SRTRANS file as the driving file, and then pull the other desired fields from OE - then you could export the report to a file.
