Hello Pat!

My first impression is that you (or someone else if you are running Adagio on a network) could have Adagio Invoices open or accessing a Customer record - this will affect Receivables' capability to post - alternatively, you could actually have the Customer information screen open in Receivables.

Similar instances will cause this type of warning message to pop-up. Posting transactions requires exclusive access to the Customer files.

Hope this helps!

Hi Pat

Other suggestions:
Try rebooting your system, perhaps a file is being held or is otherwise locked by the system.

If this does not help, do a Data Integrity Check to see if errors are found. If there are, then click the Rebuild button to see if Adagio can fix them, and redo the check.

Try the same procedure in Adagio sample data - if it works ok, then the problem is likely not the program, but something in your data files. The sample data for Receivables is located in Softrak\CRWIN\Samdata.

Regards
