You've encountered the "Two Year" rule. You can always post to 2 years (either Current & Prior or Current & Next) but not 3 years.

Your best option at this point is to restore from the most recent backup of GL files. Restoring files always carries a risk of overwriting the wrong files or getting modules out of synch so I would suggest speaking with your Adagio dealer if you aren't comfortable with the process.

Your Adagio Consultant can undo this if it's critical to your organization, or it can be done as a database repair if no transactions have been posted in the new year.
