Well if you're worried about making the statement worse than it is, you could first open the statement file and 'Save As' a new file name. That way you at least have the original file.

The answer here may be that the Total field for your debits/credits or Total Assets/Liabilites are summing incorrect cells. Just like in Excel, you could click the wrong number cell and look at the formula to see how that number is being calculated. Perhaps it's adding one too many cells or missing a cell (as you know already which accounts are the problem). Or perhaps you have to add a new row to including missing accounts, then adjust the total.

If you could post particularly what the problem is (ie missing account row, incorrect subtotal, etc), then perhaps we could give a more specific solution. Often seeing the statement makes things much easier.

If you are comfortable with Excel, you can probably do 90% of the types of changes necessary. If this still is out of your comfort zone, perhaps you could get in contact with your Adagio consultant to help (and to contact Softrak Support for additional help if required).

The sign may be wrong for these two fields, resulting in them being added when they should be subtracted, or vice versa.
