Hello lcaudill,

What accounting software are they retrieving from? Is the message the same each time (always 3 times, always the same addresses)?

If the error repeatable on another machine?

Sounds a bit like a harware problem (I know - software vendors always say that), or perhaps a damaged database being retrieved from.

I had the same problem with A/R try adjusting the size of the type on the monitor. What happens the text is to big for the config and you will get a lot of ascees viol errors.

Hi kevin,

Well, that's an interesting observation. You're right, Adagio is not "enthusiastic" about either "Large Fonts" or scaled fonts. It doesn't know how to scale the forms very well.

Thanks for the tip!

Hello lcaudill,

If the data integrity check is reporting errors on departments, you might also try adding the necessary department codes into the general ledger. perhaps there is a problem retrieving the necessary descriptions. If so, please let us know. Otherwise, I'd be interested in receiving a copy of the data to see whether the problem is repeatable here.

Thanks

Hello lcaudill,

I've never heard of a program that requires opportunistic locking to be turned on in order to run - but I've heard of LOTS (including Adagio) that will not run if it's turned on.

Since the data retrieves fine on your system - they must have an environmental issue. Have them do all their retrieves locally would be another work around.
