I am trying to set up emails I have the option checked off and on the tool bar it gives me the button email/fax but when I go to that button the only catagory available is fax the Email is light gray and I can't set it up. Why?

Have you set up the e-mail under Fax/Email | Email setup? Do the clients you are trying to e-mail to have addresses set up on their files?

It is a security issue. You need to give yourself the rights to that menu choice.

To prove this, log in as SYS (with the correct password), and you will see that the menu option is now available.

Even though i have access to the fax setup but not the email set up and i am set up as an adminstrator.

It doesn't matter that you are set up as the administrator.

Did you try what I wrote about logging into Adagio with the user ID SYS? What happened?
