What is the correct way to go to the prior year in the gl after you have closed the year in version 9.

All kinds of warnings come up when you use the prior year date.

By "go into" do you mean "post a transaction into", or just look up a transaction or print a report?

If you are just looking something up, then all the reports and inquiries allow you to specify a fiscal year as well as a fiscal period for the report. Just change the year and period to the one you want (you don't need to log in with a different date).
