Jane:

Adagio Job Costing is NOT file compatible with ACCPAC Job Costing. When it sees the ACCPAC JC files, it will convert them to the Adagio format, but then they are not longer readable by ACCPAC. (This cange was required to accomodate the longer phase and category numbers.)

Check the amount of memory in your computer. 256 mb is really the minimum for almost any large Windows program, and 512 mb or more is better. (By comparision, DOS programs like ACCPAC ran in less than one mb.)
