When entering an order, the user can enter qty ordered and qty shipped. Is there any way to have the OE form only print items where qty shipped < qty ordered? We have a client who does projects and wants to print all items that haven't been shipped as his backorder form.

How about the order action report, or is your client looking for an actualy "form"?

They actually want a form - so they can keep it in their backorder file and include on the next shipment (and then print all the backordered items and include on the next shipment and so on, and so on...

In general, the original order will have all the items on it. The customer will be changing the 'qty shipped' as each backordered item is shipped.

It is a very fragile system, but the potential problems due to user errors are understood and accepted in the grand scheme of things.

The only form option when printing specifications is to suppress items with zero qty shipped on Invoices. There is no option to suppress non-zero qty shipped on orders, regardless of the relationship to the qty ordered.

If you need this now, then this would require a custom Crystal report to make it look nice.
