Everytime I go into the Financial Reporter a message comes up that reads "An attempt was made to access an unnamed file past its end". How do I get rid of this message?

Rather than opening your data, when you go into Ledger, point to the sample data (usually installed to Softrak\Ledger\Samdata) which has an extension of SAM.

Next, go into the Financial Reporter. Do you receive the same message or no error at all?

There was no error message at all in the sample data

What module and version are we talking about (see Help | About)?

When does this message appear? After the message is displayed, can you proceed into the financial reporter? Can you "View" each of the panes normally (Data, Groups, Chart, Department, Statement Groups)?

The message pops up after I select maintenance then maintain financial reports. After I read the message it says to press okay. I am then able to proceed into the Financial Reporter. The up and down arrows that are associated with expanding the smart sheet are not hi-lited and I cannot use them.

The SmartSheet expand/collapse arrows will not be anabled until you have opened a statement with ".SmartSheet" in cell A1 or you have placed that text in the cell of an empty sheet.

There still a few more questions you need to answer in my post above. Module? Version? View | Departments (etc) works OK?

I have Adagio Ledger Version 9.0A (080430).

I am able to view chart, groups, etc.
