Do you need to turn off UAC and have Admin access for all workstation installs we installing from the server (allwkst.exe) ?

Admin access always. UAC only on Vista.

Thanks they are Windows 7 workstations so I wont worry about UAC.

I would be surprised if Doug didn't also mean that UAC has to be turned off on Windows 7, too.

Your right Steve, the Fundemantals manual has been updated to include Windows 7 and UAC should be off.

I did 2 installations on Windows 7 recently and found that, like Doug, UAC wasn't an issue, even if left On. The user had Administrator rights. I'm curious what others are encountering.
