Can you explain why I have the Excel Direct button when I click - Edit - Item Filters (Create a Filter) but not on the actual Item Inquiry (Display Data Filtered) as a result I am seeing the info I want but can not output ....only on screen.

What version of Inventory? I'm not getting this behaviour. Can you post a couple of screen shots?

Usually the reason that the ExcelDirect button disappears is that the User Option "Enable SF Export" is disabled under File | Users, but then it should disappear off all screens.

Excel button doesn't show up in Item Inquiry when a filter is selected and the Find button is disabled too.

User Option "Enable SF Export" was not enabled.

Thanks Patricia and Andrew. What stump me was it was showing on the screen where I create a filter. That is why I did not check.
