i HAD A MESSAGE SINCE I INSTALLED THE NEW SALES ANALYSIS. wHEN I TRY TO POST AN ADJUSTMENT IN INVENTORY I GIVES ME THE FOLLOWING ERROR:
CRITICAL:[1011] INSUFFICIENT RIGHTS TO CREAT FILE IN DATA DIRECTORY.. EVEN IF I LOGGED AS SYS ADMINISTRATOR, I GIVES THE SAME ERROR..

ALSO IN THE SALES ANALYSIS MODULE I HAVE JUST INSTALLED, WHEN I WANT TO PRINT A STANDARD REPORT FROM THE LIST, I PREPARES THE DATA , BUT THEN IT GIVES ME A MESSAGE THAT THE THE REPORT CAN'T BE FOUND AT O:\SOFTRAK\SRWIN\...NAME.RPT, WHICH IS NOT TRUE. THE FILES ARE IN THIS DIRECTORY.

For the first issue, has anything else changed in your setup? New computer? New operating system? Installing SalesAnalysis should not have impacted anything to do with Inventory.

For the second question, did you install any of the beta versions of SalesAnalysis? or have you changed any of the rights for yourself as a user? This is almost crtainly a problem with rights to various directories.

Try running \SOFTRAK\SYSTEM\CHKSYS.EXE which will tell you if anything is not correctly installed for the proper running of Adagio.

PS - Don't you hate the position of the CAPS Lock Key?

Also:

- Make sure that you are running under an environment that allows long file names. This may be causing the Report problem.

- I have heard of the 'error 1011' before when a process attempts to create a temporary file that already exists (ie was not deleted for some reason).
